The Toyota Endo, the latest concept from the ED2 design centre, is an urban-friendly car designed to address some of the key issues of modern urban life.
Among the most interesting features, the opening mechanisms of the doors and the flat screen dashboard.
The Endo concept car, which is another take on the kind of city car the world will need if gas prices continue their upward spiral. It's unlikely, however, that the other concept on show will ever really catch on. It's the i-unit, transportation for just one person that allows the occupant to "interact with his or her surroundings." The design is inspired by a leaf, "a natural expression of life on earth" and it can be driven in either a standing or recumbent position.
Unfortunately, it requires the driver to wear one of those one-piece silver suits reminiscent of 1950s science-fiction movies; it's obviously designed for the younger female driver.
It will be presented alongside the Toyota i-unit at the next Frankfurt Motor Show.

In typical concept fashion, I'm sure the production model would have many differences. If they tone it down a bit I wouldn't be surprised if it took Europe by storm. Considering North America's size-complex, I doubt we'll ever be able to test drive one at our local Toyota/Scion dealership.

Luggage space? For what?
Who would want to do any traveling on those painful looking seats?

I don't want to be the one sitting in the back of that "4"-seater. ![Uhh...](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/1387914497.gif)
It's making the backseats of the SC430 look useful.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Remove those seats, and I think it's a pretty cool concept.

I don't think spokes would look hot on this car, though it would probably fog up nicely.
