Default 2006 Dodge Caliber

Neon replacement.

I'm actually liking this. It should be very successful - stylish crossover with a Neon price.

Looks very nice.

The name is cool, but too close to mispronounce as that gag-reflex "Cavalier"

I know, but the production model will look almost exactly like it. Which is typical of Chrysler.

my thoughts exactly... I love how the US consumer market despises station wagons, yet you can simply raise the ride height a couple inches and raise the roofline by a couple inches and suddenly everyone has to have one.

Its okay looking. Looks better than that Chevy HHR and that awful looking Chrysler PT Cruiser.

I dont think those big wheels will make it to the producition model.

That is far too large to be a Neon replacement.

You can do the research, It is in fact the replacement for the Neon.
I'm not sure why Chrysler would drop their small sedan and replace it with a crossover,
but this is the direction they're taking - and it will definately sell.

And it is smaller than the picture makes it look.

This car, in both looks and size, appears to me to be aimed more at the Toyota Matrix / Pontiac Vibe than at anything else. As both of those have a Toyota-designed AWD system as an option, Dodge, IMO would be wise to do so likewise on the Caliber.
