Pics from HIN Atlantic City
Hey guys, I just wanted to share a couple pics from the show this weekend. I'm so pissed because my damn tripod was left in the garage (duh), and with the odd lighting at these events my pics were demolished!!!
There was some nice cars there and it was great to chat it up with a few other gearheads, and a few CL guys that I have known for quite some time.
My GS400 also picked up a couple trophies, which was a nice surprise, since I'm not really a "competion" guy, I just go to promote D2 and talk to clients / vendors.
Here are a couple pics of some various rides
One of my personal fav's - 2004 SL500 with 20" HRE 847 in red, BRABUS aero, BRABUS Exhaust, Kleeman S/C (525hp), Kleeman Lowering Module (look at that stance), and Brembo 4wheel Brake kit. The red wheels may not be for everyone, but the car overall was just a fine specimen. Owner was a really cool older gentleman, a true "car guy". Not just some wealthy guy that dropped his car off at the shop. He said "I've been looking at your car for the last 10 minutes trying to figure out if you had a Aero Kit or not, since its so clean!" LOL
Really nice Volkswagen golf with 19" iFORGED Essen in gold (check out the offset and rear lip!). The color of this car with the wheel finish was a great contrast (too bad the lighting waters down the rich hues)
Infifiti G35 coupe with 20" iFORGED Sprint in Chrome / Chrome lip, nice aero and a SICK system! (seriously the roof flexed when it was playing). I know the owner pretty well from all the shows we have done together, really cool car guy.

Really nice e46 M3 with 19" HRE C20's in gold - if you dont think it flows well in pics, when you see the car in person its beautiful!
Oh yeah, here's my GS400 with the trophies, and a couple pics of my monitors, I dont think I've posted pics of it before. The front is a 7" that replaced my rearview mirror and I have a rear-view camera mounted in the 3rd brake light, the rear is a 15" flip down, and the DVD player is mounted under the rear bench (easy access while driving, right about the tranny tunnel)

Very nice...that G35 is perfect.....
I'm loving the wheels and paint match on the SL too.
And certainly your car, as always is a showstopper...congrats on the trophies. So since the rearview is gone, is it safe to assume that you have a backup cam?

congrats derrick on the trophies, very nicely presented!
i agree the sl500 is hella nice, the wheels are definitely not my taste but overall it's very well done. same with the m3, i think the wheels look awesome on it. it's definitely funny on the sporty side and it's great outcome

Very nice Derrick! I love the SL (other than the red wheels) and your GS of course.
Tell me some more about those LCD's!!!! I want to badly replace my rear-view mirror but keep procrastinating. Can you post some more details on that please? Or just send me an email if that is easier - hameed@prudensconsulting.com

Just kidding this is us leaving for HIN.
My TV is a 13.3 inch flip down with the DVD mounted in the glove compartment.
HIN was alot of fun, cars, girls, cars, girls, and trophies who could ask for more.
