If Toyota was smart, they would of done this themselves...then we would all be praising Toyota for their community insight...reality is that both GM and Toyota are companies out to make a profit...not make your life better (unless it makes them a profit). Kudos to GM...

So your telling me that If you were a business and saw that your major competitor was running an event in your backyard and realized that they were, by virtue of the event, alienating the public at a tourist destination you would not try to take advantage of the situation and score a few PR brownie points? Believe me, companies do this and will continue to do this until profit is not a driving factor on shareholder's minds...
I like Toyota products more than GM, but you need to give credit where credit is due...
