I thought they werent supposed to be on the roads for a while?

 

They went on sale in Kuwait just 3 days ago.

 

Europe & some other parts of the world always get their new Benz models launched half a year earlier than here. I remember seeing the very first CLK in October 1997 while vacationing in Europe, but the car wasn't available here until Spring 1998. I also saw the then brand new E class in May 2002 in Spain & the car wasn't available here until the fall of 2002.

 

The 1/2 year elsewhere will give 'em a chance to work out any kinks before it's launched here.

I think this car's gonna be a HUGE success.

 

How, by selling to the blind?

 

I thought I saw one the other day in our company parking lot. Then I realized it was a guy's Ford Focus. Guess I have to do more than watch for the Focus wheel arches.

 

It usually takes them WAY, WAY longer than that

 

theres one in my area, he's had it for a couple of months already. i have no idea how the F he got it

 

Pics? It'd be cool to see some close up, real world detailed pics. Also, what color is it and does that color help the wheel arches and rear end?

That's what they said about the Bungled 7 series which has sold very well.

 

I always see it in front of this restaurant every friday night. I cant just walk up to his car and take pics. But its silver. I have an 01 S500. I grill looks exactly the same. Umm, pretty much a mini maybach!

 

yea it does it look like a baby maybach..i saw one in manhattan bout a week ago..it was silver with tinted windows...my friend ordered 2 of them in may..one for him and one for his brother..must be nice lol

 

Maybe that's the reason they ripped off the 7's Bangle butt & interior dash for the new S class

 

Just curious but has anyone seen a new R class on the road? I drove by a merc dealer today and there was definitely not a new S to be seen or an R. As the R was to be out in September, I would have figured they would show up before the new S.

 

i've seen the R in the lots for a few weeks now...

the S i have yet to see.
