Looks great although the hood looks really long and high in a couple of those shots, but that's ok. Looks oddly like everything the new GS should have been though. The new GS will look really bland in comparison.

Unless you're loaded though better start saving hard now, that ain't gonna be cheap.

Lexus LF-Sh

Toyota officials will deny it, but this rakish sedan is the next generation Lexus LS. The LF-Sh showcases what are now two key Lexus product trends: sporty styling, and a hybrid powertrain. The LF-Sh shows the next Lexus LS will be aimed at luxury car buyers who don’t like the bold look of the new S-class Mercedes or BMW 7-series, though the car features a raised trunk that’s clearly inspired by Chris Bangle’s work. This next-generation LS will be all new, with a new platform, new suspension, new transmission, a more sophisticated VDIM integrated stability control system, and a new V-8 engine with Toyota’s new, innovative D-4S dual injection system, which injects fuel into the ports like a conventional fuel injection system, as well as directly into the combustion chamber. The top of the range LS will feature a hybrid powertrain tuned to deliver high performance while delivering class-leading fuel economy. Finally, the new LS will be available in two wheelbases. This is the standard wheelbase version: the long wheelbase car will feature an extra 3-4 inches in the wheelbase, all of it devoted to rear passenger legroom.

Wow, three-bulb HID-XENON headlamp. Now that is the first time I've ever seen such amazing technology in the automotive industry and I do hope that THEY KEEP IT UNTIL THE FINAL PRODUCTION VERSION. I also hope that the "SPECIAL" ALL WHEEL DRIVE system gets retained on all variants and MINIMUM of 7-speed Automatic Transmission with Manual Mode.

Also, 6.0 V12 Engine + Hybrid Motor and New-gen All-Aluminum Common Rail Turbo Diesel Engine would be extra bonuses.

Damn its crazy how the LS and Q45 debuted in 1989 together and one is a major player and the other needs a shot to the head and can't be given away.

anyway, this is just a concept after al. i think the grille, exhaust openings, and the headlights might have some changes. not sure if there will really be 3 hid for teh headlights....

food rest for the back seat in the long wheel base and also monitors huh? very nice, i am ready to have my wife drive the car

when we thought about buying the ls430 instead of the sc430, she already said if we get the ls430 she will just stay in the back with seats inclined and massager on. i showed her this new LF-Sh and she likes it a lot as well. i told her about the foot rest and monitors and she said she is in the back seats forever. i said it's not fair and i should be there

Thanks for the interesting info. 440hp is a bit on the low side of my previous prediction. Perhaps the hybrid LS is really using a 4.6L V8 not the rumored 5.0L one after all.

Why oh why are there no pics of the interior? Lexus, the LS without interior is like Lexus LS without a V8!!! Come on....

first of all it could be that the interior is not close to be done yet. usually it takes more time imho to refine it

and second, if i were toyota, i wouldn't want my competitors to know what i have to offer, 2 yrs before the car hits the road right?

well, just a gut feeling here, funny math (it's late night)

rx400h is 3.3L + hybrid (so it's 3.3 + 0.7)
330 engine has 223hp, 400h has 268, so the hybrid gives 35hp (0.7 factor)

gs450h is going to be 3.5 engine + hybrid (so it's 3.5 + 1.0)
350 engine has 306hp (assume same as is350), 450h assume it has 360hp (they said it will be faster than the gs430 -- 300hp, and the new gs460 i say it has around 360hp), so the hybrid gives about 60hp (1.0 factor)

ls600h first assume it's 4.6 engine + hybrid (so it's 4.6 + 1.4)
if the 460 engine really has 360hp, then with the 1.4 factor (and from the previous two cases), the hybrid will push around 100 to 110hp. so the total hp will be 460 to 470

ls600h second assume it's 5.0 engine + hybrid (so it's 5.0 + 1.0)
if the 460 engine has 360hp, i think the 5.0 engine will have around 410hp? the 1.0 hybrid engine gives about 60hp, so the total hp is also around 470hp

either way, it seems like 450 to 470hp for the ls600h kinda makes sense. i agree the hp number is less than what i hoped for
