Why don't Lexus put the 3.5 in the GS that would be awsome Idrove the new gs even though it's faster than mine why put the bigger engine in the IS and the avalon and not the Gs I think the GS is more upscale than any toyota and the IS.

That's true the GS is more upscale...
There's been some discussion of this on the board. It seems after the GS 450h comes out, a GS350/GS460 is not too far off...
Perhaps it is something to do with the production run schedule, but the GS currently has 'futuristic' design but in some ways it is just 'modern' (engine, NAVI). 'Futuristic' elements such as the engine and new NAVI have gone into the IS...the GS should update soon IMHO!

Being more upscale doesn't necessarily equate a bigger engine. It's all about more room and luxury.
It's like saying why buy a 530i when you can buy an M3 for about the same cost. They're simply in different classes.

simply, it wouldnt make sense sales wise in the US.. if you had the GS430 with 300hp and the GS350 with 305hp but for thousands less <and the option of awd for the 3.5
> it wouldnt make too much sense to get the 430.. so dont expect the 3.5 out here til the new v8 comes out <LS, GS, SC...>
