Hey guys,
Yesterday I got a call from a local exotic car dealer(not a Ferrari dealer), bought a couple cars from them in the past, so he thought he might try talk me into buying this ridiculously priced F430. I'm not some stupid chump that will just pay any price.
So anyway, he calls me and makes this dramatic question, "Would you like a chance to own something very exclusive and the waiting list is 8 years" So I chuckle at him and he asks why I'm laughing. So I tell him I've got a 430 spider coming in a couple months(plus I know the waiting list is 40 months, funny how they exaggerate things) and there's a moment of silence from him. I ask him out of curiosity what they want for it and he tells me $508,000($385,000 if you order it from the Ferrari dealership) THIS GUY IS OUT OF HIS MIND $123,000 premium for a car?! So I laugh some more and tell him it's 123,000 dollars cheaper from the dealer and there's another moment of silence from him and he tries to make some stupid excuse, about it's so rare, long waiting list blah blah blah. Told him I wasn't interested and said bye.
Honestly, people from dealerships here should get more competent staff. They don't know anything about the cars they are selling...
