i find it hard to belive that either of them can outrun an Enzo (3.7 sec) or Carrera GT (3.8 sec)

 

Both of those are some great performers.

Yeah it is kinda crazy that these cars can run with the Super exotics. But so can a SL65 AMG. Track timed by owners running 11.7-11.9 in the Quarter mile, all stock.

 

I hope the Viper ups the ante to spank the Z06. That would be sweet.

 

There's more to it than just numbers when you get on a track. Balance, especially in transitions can make one fast car seem scary while another inspires confidence. I would expect that the Enzo and Carrera GT would inspire more confidence certainly than a Viper and also the Vette.

Nevertheless those are amazing numbers! Who says good 'ol iron' can't impress?

All this as GM is trying to convince Wall St. it's not going to go bankrupt.
