Default CL65 AMG vs. C6 Z06 (video)
Well after reading the Viper vs. C6 Z06 thread, I stumbled across this video.

CL65 AMG with flash and 3 inch exh. VS new C6 Z06. roll on, 7 tenths of a mile, from bridge to bridge. start at 60 mph, and come through at 165+.

Nice run for the Vette to stay side-by-side with a modified CL65 to the end...that's a $70K car versus $170K+...

i am a bit surprised, i thought the cl would have pulled away with the v12 biturbo

the CL weighs about as much as rhode island...


and it's got air suspension. and not enough grip to put all that crazy torque down.

Damn...... I was late on the post!

At any rate...... Completely Nucking Futs!!! Even though the Benz is "Crazy Heavy".... It's pavement-pouding 700+ ft.lbs of torque allows it to run with a flat out RACE CAR!

yeah i know the cl is a lot heavier, but it also has a lot more power and tq. i guess the v12 power really shows up on the high end speed

You should be more worried about getting hit by a 86 civic with a N2o kit, then a CL65. At least if you get hit by a CL65, you have secured the future of your children, and possibly grandchildren

Oh....... And just in case there is any doubt as to it being a Z06....

The CL65 would completely SMASH any car with 400hp unless it weighed 1,000 pounds or some shiz.

You gota love Vegas. We have track nights that SL 65's and CL 65's come out to play

so a 65 sighting isnt that big of a deal anymore

Not to mention that it is chipped with better breathing. MB stated that the 65's were capable of over 800 lb/ft but they were detuned to keep them from chewing up the tranny.
