Taillights are atrocious!
I agree with Sick, Lincoln needs to differentiate itself somehow. Go for the oldies, not the young-uns. Too many hands in the pot as it is. Lincoln should go for the floaty boaty throw-back American dream boat-car of the 50's and mmarshall's wet dreams.

First, I like the Zephyr's taillights. They are large, simple, and to the point. Too many vehicles today have taillights that are wierdly-shaped, crawl up the rear fenders or D-pillars, or look like triangles.
Second, persons of ANY age can appreciate a nice, smooth-riding car. You don't have to be a geezer....that is another undeserved stereotype.
Third, the late 60's trough late 70's vintage Lincoln Continentals were actually the smothest, quietest ones, not the '50s. The 50's vintage ones, while heavy and smooth, did not have enough sound insulation. The later ones were literally like tombs...you had to drive them to believe them....and they rode like the Queen Mary as well.

I like the tailights a lot, too. Very simple, sort of modern-era archtiecture-esque. I still think the front end is hideous, though. I guess it just goes to show style is subjective.
