Not bad. The tail lights are too Passat though.
Front is a nice cross between the new Civic and RSX. So does that mean they're going to have a Coupe,Hybrid and Si version? CSX-S(i)? CSX-h?

This is exactly what the Japanese Civic looks like. As you can see there are minor differences front and rear with our version(US version). The Acura CSX is just bagde engineering of the Japanese version.

With that said, its crap, and they should be ashamed of themselves doing this once again. So they have 2 cars that are basically the same size. TSX and CSX. Not a good look.

I dont like the new civic at all. IMHO, the 5th and 6th gens were the best looking civics ever, and 94+ integra. The 01+ civic and the 06 are fugly. RSX isnt bad, but integra is still better.

TSX is actually quite a bit bigger, in fact TSX is the Euro Accord.

I am with u there. I considered both5th and 6th gens when I was younger, they looked good, great build quality and tons of parts. THe last 2 versions I can't touch with a stick.

Length

TSX - 183.3
Civic - 176.7

Wheelbase

TSX - 105.1
Civic - 106.3

Height

TSX - 57.3
Civic - 56.5

Width

TSX - 69.4
Civic - 69.0

Interior Volume

TSX - 91.0 cubic ft.
Civic - 90.9 cubic ft.

The only big difference is the lenght(around 6in longer on the TSX). The rest of the dimensions are on top of eachother. yes the TSX is the Euro Accord built on a different platform, but size wise, they are to close for comfort.

Driving both though will more than likely show many differences. But I still donbt think there is a significant difference in that either.

Now all we need to know is how much this model cost compared to the TSX(Canadian prices obviously).

Look at what Lexus did with the IS and ES. Major difference not only in size, but driving dynamics as well.

The current EL is a rebadged Civic with leather and heated seats.

However, IT SELLS like crazy! The CSX will probably sell like crazy as well! Kudos to Honda!

Well, civic and TSX are still quite a bit different, for isntance civic is almost 10K cheaper. I didn't drive the new civic, but I have a 95 civic beater car. What can I say, it's a civic.

But I did drive 2005 TSX, and it's a POS. It's about as hard on the road as the IS300, but it doesn't have IS300's handling and RWD, and on top of everything it's hella slow. The only good thing going for it's is that its very sexy, and the interior with wood trim is gorgeous.

The CSX is pretty much a replacement for the old 4 door integra I would guess, since the TSX doesn't fall into the same price category.

I drove one when I was shopping for a new car (ended up with gs430), and it seemed slow even compared to my old 94 GS300.

Och is correct...the American TSX is basically the rest of the world's Accord.

But the rest of this thread........I'm not sure I follow you guys here. Is this obviously re-badged Civic ( Acura CSX ) going to REPLACE the American TSX, be sold here here in America WITH the TSX, or not be sold here AT ALL.....only in foreign markets?...or none of the above?

From the thread, I can't quite make out just what the intended market of this car is.

I DO agree that 139 ft-lbs. of torque at a high 4500 RPM......typical for a Honda-designed VTEC four....is not worthy of an Acura nameplate, at least here in the U.S.
