Man, after reading all of that, Caddy is really set out to take over this Fullsize market. They really improved on A LOT of things. That interior with all those new features sounds outstanding. Looks outstanding. It says leather on the dashboard, but I dont see it in the pics?? However I'm nor feeling that grill just yet. Its kinda pointy and wierd looking. But everything else seems to look great.
Its great that all models are very unique and different inside and out in there own way.
Ohh, I too like the way the Tahoe looks more than the Caddy, but I'm sure that will change when I see both on road very soon.

I will wait and see Toyota's new models before making a judgement. If the rumours are true about a 400HP V8, GM will have their hands full competing in this shrinking market.
It seems ironic how much resources GM devoted to the GMT-900s, given the shrinking market.
To quickly sum up my thoughts .... much better interior than previous Escalade, I'm not digging the exterior compared to the last gen. And finally, all the GMT-900s look way too similar from the sides and rear, with the Escalade and Yukon looking similar from the front.

I like the interior a lot, its like 10 leaps above the current POS interior (POS is not an exaggeration). THe exterior is fine too, though, the side vent is factory rice, but what can u do.
Not bad at all. Damn a ndw engine with 400hp! and a 6 speed auto. DAMN
Lexus will really have to step up with the LX/JX

What a way of thinking

You've obviously never considered TOWING CAPACITY. People who buy a behemoth like the Escalade may well have a big boat to pull, or something like a horse trailer. That power will be much appreciated on uphill climbs in particular.
How much power do you think it should have then? If it had a low number you'd be criticizing it for that too.
