Ok, so now an idiot that doesn't know how to drive can pull a huge boat uphill doing 90 mph. Sounds like a good idea.

It shouldn't exist, period.

I hate to break it to ya (and several others here) but FAR more White Collar WHITE people purchase the Escalade than ANY other demographics out there! Don't believe me? Stroll into your local stealership and inquire.
Right here in my neighborhood there are at least 4 of them and a couple of their larger ESV variants. And guess who's driving them? 40 - 60 year old Whites. Oh and by the way... two of them have at least 22" chrome wheels! So all of the BS stereotyping needs to cease. Just because the vehicle also happens to appeal to Hip-Hop Artists and Athleletes doesn't make it "ghetto". Not by a long shot. :icon22: It is still a $50 - $70k vehicle, and an American icon for prestige. Therefore it will ALWAYS appeal to it's largest buyer base whom I described above.

Would I purchase one? No.
Would I rock one? Yes.

There are other vehicles that I prefer in that price point, but for what it is, it's cool. And the new one is 10x better inside and out IMO.

Sadly CORPORATE stereotyping continues though - tonight I saw a Chrysler 300C commercial a couple of times that had a kind of hip hop theme and only black people in the ad. What's that about?

If you ask me the whole line kinda gets more "girly" with each coming generation....Even though I say that I still would be swooned by the whole automaticly receding running boards and those mirrors look pretty cool too. I applaud GM for finally making an effort

The Denali and the Escalade look like plumped up Envoys. Not the exterior styling i like to see. I really liked the look of the current generation GM full size SUV's.
