For me, it was the Alfa Romeo GTV6. What can I say, I like Italian cars!
Rear-wheel drive, DeDion rear suspension, four wheel disc brakes, and lusty 2.5 liter V6 engine. The '85-up cars were fuel injected, which helped drivability, but they had problematic synchros and other electrical gremlins - fairly typical for an 80s Italian car. I had a friend who picked one up used in about 1989- was a fast an d fun car... when it was not in the shop.
mmarshall knows about these cars, I'm sure - and, ultimately, I believe it can safely be classified as "bad."

the real question here on this thread should be, why hasn't this garage upgraded its car jacks from using the age old system of finding a big strong guy with a thick head to hold up cars.

I DREAMED of owning a 87 Taurus( I was a kid)! Bought one, regretted it everytime it was serviced. Then an Olds Calais. Another POS. Then a Vette convertible. Another POS. Then a 318. What was I thinking? Then the 528. Another POS. Then the Internet came out and I became knowledgeable in car purchasing. Things get better from there.
