Havent seen the commercials yet, but I will be looking for them. I'm definitely a fan of the new Jaguar styles(well even the old ones). Gorgeous.

I'm still trying to decide if I like the commercial. It is definately memorable for Jaguar in general, but you couldn't really get a clear idea/image of the cars they were presenting. All the cars merged together in a collage full of "gorgeous" models and car parts.

However, the XK stands out as it is truly a gorgeously designed car. I can't wait to see it, but I know I'd never buy it. Jaguar's reliability has a lot to be desired. Perhaps leasing it would be good? It's a little more financially approachable than the similarly-designed Aston Martin DB9 Coupe.

 

They make the car look so much more expensive. Its like a freaking cologne add (nothing wrong with that by the way)

 

The "problem" with these ads is that after all the eye candy, you think "Was there a car in there somewhere?"

 

We'll see the cars soon enough. Bring on the gorgeous models!!!

 

I was going to post about this but forgot about it until now.

I think that particular commercial is the most pretentious commercial I’ve ever seen. The cars may be gorgeous, the people in the commercial may be gorgeous, and the commercial may be visually gorgeous. But I almost had to change the channel because they said gorgeous way too many times!

Hehe, while it's full of 'beautiful people' including the obligatory 'get out of the car at a valet drop off looking beautiful and hoping everyone notices' shot - overall I thought it was more about the passion and beauty that Jaguar represents and wants to be associated with, and I enjoyed it. Actually I've seen at least 2 different commercials now.

 

the narrator on the commercial sounds like that Baz Luhrmann character, reminds me of that stupid song he made a few years ago where he just talks throughout the entire tune.

 

I find the new commercials annoying and compelling at the same time.

Jaguar has really applead the the fashion side of owning a car. Yes, it's like a cologne commercial with beautiful people and we all want to beautiful...right?

That fact that we're talking about Jaguars on a Lexus forum shows how effective this ad campaign is. But seeing those commercials too many times will probably drive me nuts....
