That Gallardo isnt used for Police work though. Its just used for organ transports. If you notice, the cooler the officer is carrying. I have to find the article where I read that.

 

Instead of unleashing the car's full potential in a felony chase, they use it as some transportation tool? What a waste.

Well maybe those organs need speedy transportation to hospitals before they perish, but how is that the police's responsibility?

 

if they are smart they would make the light at the top smaller and more aerodynamic. now it's a pretty good drag right there

and i thought the 997s can do 0-60 in like 4 sec as well? with the tuner i am not surprised if it can do high 3

Its the same thing with the Avalon Police car. More of a design study than anything else.

 

Sooner or later we'll see a Bugatti Veyron with those blue lights slapped on at some show in the not-too-distant future.
