Well, I haven't really been on here reading anything for ages, most people probably forget me ...

Regardless, I built an SC300 5 speed and I believe I was the first SC300 to use the AEM EMS standalone (from a Supra TT at the time) ... made 565rwhp, had 2 years of fun, sold the car to buy a house ....

It has been a year since I bought the house, and other nice things have happened

The MR2 is currently on jackstands because I sold the SSRs and I got Volk Gram Lights for it also (matching rims, woot) Waiting on them to be finished with the powdercoating....

Haha! Thanks guys.

I actually do keep them pretty well spotless. The pictures I posted were right after I got the MR2 and had washed it for the first time, but you can clearly see that I haven't gotten to clean up the engine bay(s) lol

Welcome back man, I remember you from back in the day. I think you had some tranny nightmares with the SC before you sold it? You are living my dream right there with the Supra and MR2. The S/C V6 is something new to me though but seems to be doing good beause that curve is FLAT! Are there any others like it (not in the MR2 scene)? Hope you stick around and let us know all about the new projects. Congrats on the house too!

Wow, you guys didn't forget about me ?!? Thanks! Can't believe I was brought up in another thread, that brings a smile every time

I do plan to own another SC within 24 months (yes, it sounds like a long time, but I have some other things to work on first ... not involving my automotive life) I promise I won't keep it stock.

Wife & Child are both GREAT. My daughters website is www.taralynmarie.com - I have to get some of the latest pictures up there, but it is only about maybe 2 months behind ? Wife is working hard but doing well .... not really ready for Christmas yet lol

O.L.T. - I promise to check in a bit more often I was coming by here and there looking for wheels until I had my heart set on Gram Lights and I ended up buying sets for both of my cars.

jet864 - Yes, in my SC ... I broke one tranny, one clutch, one pressure plate, and one flywheel. All at different times I was also the guy who couldn't figure out how to make my flywheel bolts STAY in place ... they kept backing out. A grand total of 9 times, I believe, we pulled the tranny from that car. 4 times for broken stuff, 5 times for flywheel bolts ... until we solved the problem

My particular MR2 is one of a kind since is was the USCC champ in '04 but the V6 swap is becoming more and more popular and the supercharger bolts right up to the Solara/Camry/Avalon 3.0 liter, so it is a lot of fun for a little car

I will try to post an update this weekend if I get the Volks on the MR2 ... I am very excited to see how they came out powdercoated gunmetal

Stage3 - the car was originally red and it was painted by Brad in his garage - you can see pictures of the whole process using the link in my sig ... he painted EVERYTHING, there isn't a spec of red anywhere, not even under the carpet The current color now is Honda S2000 Yellow.
