LOL. When he says Beware of Infiniti M, means all M's. I was making a joke when I said that. Get over it.

G35TX, you can't compare a tiring blowing on a Lexus to this incident. Lexus doesn't make the tire, they buy them and put them on the car. Nissan made this engine and it failed.
Surely, its just an odd occurance. This is the same engine sold in the Q45 since 2002 and there have been NO reliability issues with this engine at all.
picus, the guy posted a link. He didn't bash anything. Don't get so defensive.
This is nothing compared to the M3 engine failures, which are well documented and acknowledged by BMW.
Surely this is an isolated case.

OK enough borderline rude behavior.
I think we can agree this is an isolated incident for now. I think we can also agree anytime you see something like this its something to note and watch... the first Lexus sludge issue was reported somewhere after 15 or 20K miles somewhere... same thing for the blowing BMW M engines, there was a first one reported on some forum... etc etc. This I'm guessing isn't likely isn't going to become one of those widespread issues. Infiniti does a great job with engines.
