Default Dodge Nitro to enter production

Production OK has been given to the new mid-sized Dodge Nitro SUV at the Toledo, OH plant, as this vehicle shares a number of components with the Jeep Liberty, also built there. The Nitro, while somewhat unconventional-looking with its horizontally-flared fenders, nevertheless gives Dodge an entry in the popular small-to-medium size SUV market. Previously Dodge's only SUV offering was the large Durango, a vehicle which straddles the line between mid-size and full-size SUV's.

I still don't understand how this is suppose to replace the Neon.
It's an SUV, the Neon is a small car.

It doesn't. The Neon is being replaced by the hatchback Dodge Caliber.

DailmerChrysler are in a much better position to produce new models compared to GM and Ford. Chrysler is trying and they are trying in the right direction for the domestic market. Just concern about the quality and reliability, which they are not off the hook!

I guess I have to disagree with you'all. I believe it looks GREAT!!!!!

Thats one heck of a nice looking SUV.

Look is very similar to a Land Rover.

Chrysler just seems to really be firing on all cylinders. Great design, innovative, and somewhat affordable price points.

Hello, GM and Ford. Are you there?
If so, get your heads out of your ASS_S!

Both of those vehicles are pretty damn fugly. I guess they needed some cars in their lineup to make the Charger look decent.
