Not to sound mean but do you guys even bond with your cars??? I felt like I was going to cry when I drove my GS350 off the lot and saw my G35 sitting there. I love my cars like I love my dogs. We have memories and good times that I cant just walk away from that easily. thats why I tend to keep my cars for 4 -5 years and when I get my next car I intend to keep my GS. I couldnt imagine just dumping cars every few months or even after 2 years.

i definitely have a bond w/ my cars.. i probably treat them better than pets.. or dare i say.. my unborn first child lol..

if i don't keep my car for at least a decade i feel it is a waste

for instance.. my first real car was the 91 integra.. i bought it used in 1996 and donated it (due to failing of smog) in 2006.. that's 10 years use

the first car i purchased on my own.. the gs400.. it is a '98 that i purchased in 2002.. i still have it today.. and i don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon

I'm not responsible for any of the totals except the bikes. It's pretty easy to total a bike and it's pretty easy to rebuild them too. The GTS Corolla was totaled by an ex-gf who grabbed the wheel while I was driving because I wasn't going where she wanted to go. The Supra was totaled by an ex-wife. The Scion was totaled by the current wife. Speed wasn't a direct cause in any of these totals, so no, I would not say driving fast was the root cause.
