That is what Lexus keeps doing with the LX 470 and the need a huge update on the LX.

As you can see, the magazine cover states "New Spin of the NEW Skyline". Japanese car magazines now refer to the GT-R as simply "GT-R", not V35 GT-R anymore.
Well I don't see any pictures, or even Red X's or anything under Amethy's original post... but if you're referring to the pictures under BrianGS430s post.... that first one shows the car cover saying "GT-R Proto" in pretty big letters. Am i missing something?

I'm not referring to the GT-R Proto. That's the GT-R.

I'll try to post them again. Don't know why you can't see them on your computer.

another one...

So like I said, the upcoming GT-R (which will be similar to the GT-R proto shown) will be completely separated from the Skyline lineage. The red one shown here is probably a face-lift (or what I call "minor-change" in JDM terms) version of the G35 coupe, or maybe a major re-design.

It's kinda like the new S2000, very minor changes in 2006 but it's actually a redesign..?

Still ugly even after a tint and that's coming from a Nissan owner. When you're competing agianst Lexus and BMW you just can't do stuff like that. The rest of the car looks OK ,but just OK.

I love the M series, but ya - clear tail lights are like white vinyl belts, over.

The G looks similar to the current model, which is a good thing IMO. The current G is still very attractive years after its release.

I just hope the interior has been improved.

The clear tails look hot on both the RX and FX. Not all cars can pull it off. This G35 with the Red is definitely not one of the ones that can.

The clear tail lights is one thing I got used to, but still don't particularly care for on our RX330. That is why I'll probably buy the red/clear JDM Harrier tail lights. The tail lights and rear ends on most new models from everyone seem to be the weak link. Most I can live with but some are just terrible.

To keep this on topic I like the changes they are doing to the new Skyline/G35. Well, except as many pointed out the clear taill lights. Just add some color into them and they will be great

Clear tails are very 2001. Infiniti and Lexus need to get over it. I don't like them on the RX and I don't like them on the FX.
I think Lexus should stick with it since they brought it to the market and all the other car makers knocking it off need to quit

The Skyline looks good in those pics, seems the sharp crease is the way to go nowadays.
