Does anyone have experience with the Nissan Murano?

One of my diplomatic friends brought her Murano AWD down to Mexico. Several people have told us that the Murano down here does not come with a CVT. I cannot figure this one out.
Anyways, her experience and my own personal experience driving it lead me to believe it is lacking in the suspension area for the roads here in Mexico City.

I test drove a murano last year, and it was my first experience with a cvt. Very strange to drive. You do not feel the tranny shift gears- the engine just revs until you reach cruising speeds and then the rpms slowly decrease. supposedly that is how a cvt has slightly better fuel economy by not having to actually up or downshift like a conventional tranny does.
