Default LA Auto Show coverage...........**56K go call your mother and tell her you love her*

Well I went to the LA Auto Show Thursday night. I was hoping that since it was on a weekday there wouldn't be many people there. I was wrong. A ton of Mexican's and wannabe rich people there. It was still great though.

Warming up cold nachos from Taco Factory before going in.

Went to Kentia Hall first. It's where all the aftermarket displays are.

Widebody.

E46 Fanatic?

F50.

The Phantom is friggen huge.

Quad exhaust on a Range Rover.

Lotus looking like a hornet.

LS430.

I don't really think the Bentley Flying Spur has that much road presence.

Carbon Fiber mirrors.

Carbon Fiber GT2 wing. This one only made 640HP. White man always putting down black.

After that it was on to the BMW, Lexus, and Audi exhibits.

BMW was a clusterfuk. A whole bunch of idiots regurgitating (read: poorly) stupid facts that everyone already knew.

BMW M6.

I don't know what the hell happened here.

M5. I think it's Sepang Bronze?

After both these halls, my friend and I were both thirsty and tired. So... we headed to where MB was showing.

Headed straight for the VIP Lounge. This is where we make fun of the poor people.

As you can see, it was jam packed.

Oatmeal Raison > *

After resting for a few minutes, we went to Volvo.

She was looking in, talking to her friend on the other side of the car.
A: Oh mah gawd, do you see dem TVs in da back?
B: Hack yah, no we cain eat chicken and drank Kool-Aid.

Jaguar. The guy next to me had a 1Ds.

Now on to the exotics... By the time we got around to the exotics, it was already 9:45.

Stopped by Porsche first. I was hoping they would have the 959 like they did last year. They didn't.

GT3 Cup.

Ferrari.

And the moment of truth.

The Bugatti. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. I was hoping it would be meaner or have more presence, but it didn't. Don't get me wrong though, I'd still kill every single one of you guys for it.

By now, a lot of the cars were being covered up. 2 of the 3 Spykers were already covered.

Managed this quick shot before they covered it.

Lamborghini was showing in all white this year. It's just like Alpine White and it glows.

Fisker.

My friend said the Fisker Tramonto is the MB SL done right. I don't know if he was trying to give me a negative hit.

And that's it. We had to park on the 6th level of the parking structure so we were the last ones to get out.

Default You have to wonder sometimes.

Great pics from the Show. Beautiful cars and all around great shots you took. I thank you for that. However, I can't quite understand your need for the negative and stereotypical fried chicken/kool aid remark with "ebonic" slang when referring to the "poor" African American girl gazing through the car window. But when I looked back at your opening statements regarding "A ton of Mexican's and wannabe rich people there. It was still great though." It became a little more clear. I don't know you and I'm hesitant to pass judgement on you but I must say as and African American/Latino and more importantly a human being. It's dissapointing to see such remarks/views expressed in 2006 especially from a person in such an ethnically diverse region of the country. I'm all for free speech and one expressing their views as I feel its better to know what a person really thinks/feels than for them to hide it. Thanx for the pics, not the distasteful yet honest captions. Peace

So I've been watching some old episodes of Top Gear lately, and I've heard Clarkson comment a few times on how the F50 is 'ugly'. Every single time I see one of those cars, I'm reminded that while Clarkson is a funny guy, sometimes he can be a fool.
