What do u think? Should Lexus offer a truck?

The obvious answer to this question, IMO, is for Toyota to make a super-luxurious version of the Tundra yet keep the Toyota nameplate........something similiar to, say, the Ford F150 Lariat or King Ranch.

FYI, I personally vetod the proposed Lexus truck. Jim Press has nothing on my pull

Why should I pay over $50k to haul those stuff (esp. on a more daily basis) above when that's what the taco/tundra is for, and a whole lot cheaper.

NO on the truck thing it just dosen't fit in the Lexus line.....you don't see BMW or Mercedes with a pick-up truck! and they have been around a lot longer than Lexus! I like trucks and all, but not in a Lexus.......

If the basic question is should Lexus build a truck, my answer is a resounding Heck yeah! I'd buy one tomorrow if they did. I've always had trucks in the stable. After getting my Lexus I told my wife if they ever build a truck I'll be the first one on the block with one. I want one I can fill with dirt in the back, but ride in comfort and silence. Both the Lincoln projects are a joke. The Blackwood was a crock because the bed was carpeted. In the latest version it's just an overpriced Ford. The dash looks ok, but it still rides like a farm truck.
I know if they did make one it would probably be just an overpriced Toyota, but if they could Lux it up, add a half a ton of sound deadener and put some comfy seats in it.,.. I'd fall for it tomorrow.

NO!!!! No Lexus truck, they already have 3 different suv's ( they're trucks to me ) leave the the trucks to the Toyota badge.................come to think of it, I'm thinking about trading in, or selling my Nissan truck for a TRD double cab Tacoma
