Very nice video!!! I was impressed at how the Z06 was able to gain ground on the Porsche through the twisties!

I knew that track looked familiar. I was fortunate enough to drive it a few years back during the Lexus Performance Driving School.

The z06 need a little more to keep up with a 650hp Porsche. Might have been a different story if the Z06 had one of Lingenfelter's performance packages like this one (not available in CA):

650 BHP / 600 lbs-ft of torque
226 MPH Top Speed as tested by Motor Trend Magazine - March 2000

I'll be honest with you, I gotta give that Z06 some mad props. It put up a hell of a fight for being a near-stock vehicle

I love the way that porsche disappeared on that up hill straight. I think the porsche was playing with him a little to let him catch up, then handed him his **** on the big uphill straight
