Dodge Neon + Humvee =death of neon. *PIX*
Tonight, one of my fellow soldiers, a female, just bought a brand new 05 neon. one of the last ones on closeout. Well, she had it a total of 1 hour, and its totalled. she entered the parking lot of my barracks doing well in excess of 30MPH, and i just happened to have the digicam handy. she went to turn into the lanes for the parking spaces and instead slid sideways, into a humveem and pushed the humvee into my sgt's mitsubishi montero...what a mess.
and the weird thing is, the airbags on the neon didnt deploy! and she hit dead center on the sensors. i will have pix up in a minute, as soon as the gallery decides not to be a PITA. LOL.

yes, it was raining all day, it got dark and froze, then it snowed a little over that...just enough to make it nasty out.
and the gallery is STILL loading.

Wow.... I'm glad she's okay. I'm glad no one else was hurt. That's crazy. Well, one less Neon on the road. I've heard of two near fatal accidents (one involving my cuz and she was hospitalized). The car's airbags never deployed either.

she is fine, thankfully...hopefully this will teach her something, as its not the first time i have seen her driving like a knucklehead.

shes lucky, it wont get assesed to her liscense, nothing that happens on base does. BUT, she has to claim it on insurance...so...shes stills crewed.
the good news is that i dont think ins will total it. it is BRAND new. not even plates on it. and since the airbags didnt deploy, there is good reason to think there is sufficient value to sustain a fix.

That's an H1, right? To PUSH an H1 into anything you need another H1, a tank, or HEAPS of momentum.
