My local dealer has over 30 deposits on M6's, the reason is that they are the nearest dealer north of LA that sells at MSRP. I was lucky to find a dealer with a mere three... another 150 miles north in a very small BMW market.

(I'm not sure if it will be a 2007 when released???)
i am wondering, gene. did you get to sit or even drive the m5 yet?

but that's nice man, exactly what i had in mind, gotta drive on before you get it since the m6 is just too rare, a m5 will do

I don't figure the M6 is worth 25 to 30 large more than the M5 but all the BMW-only magazine reviews claim it has a noticebly lower CG for MUCH better track manners. So that skidpad comparison is worthless.
But it is certainly a worthy object of lust.
