S-Class W221


KLEEMANN transforms the S-Class from an understated luxury cruiser into a forceful looking sports saloon.

The deep front spoiler features a big "mouth" split into two sections with integrated fog lights on each side. A neat rear skirt with a built in diffuser panel, and trapezoid rear mufflers is another recognizable KLEEMANN characteristic.
Wide side skirts complete the stylish design and the S-Class has got a sporty, ground hugging appearance emphasized by the EBL Module lowering the body up to 35 mm. The lowered centre of gravity ads a sporty touch to the cars´ fine handling and improves driving dynamics.
The EBL module is available for both ABC and AirMatic suspensions.

To match the muscular and sporty looks of the car, a new engine modification package has been developed: A reprogramming of the ECU, high-flow air filters, tubular exhaust Headers and a complete exhaust system increases power output by 40 Hp and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) on an S500.

For both the V6-powered S350 and the V8-powered S500 an all new Kompressor System is under development, and will be introduced to the market in Q1 2006

The S600 can be optimized with a stage II upgrade kit making the twin turbo engine capable of delivering 627 Hp and 1.043 Nm (772 lb-ft).

Capable of speeds near 300 km/h (186 mph) extra stopping power might be a necessity thus KLEEMANN offers high performance brake systems for the S-Class model range. The KB8 High Performance Brake system features 380 x 34 mm vented and cross-drilled two-piece brake discs with eight piston forged callipers on the front axle. Rear brakes are 345 x 32 mm vented and cross-drilled two-piece brake discs with four piston forged callipers. All KLEEMANN brake systems come with separate left and right discs.

The massive brake callipers are fitted behind wheels not smaller than 19" and the TS-6 is an obvious choice emphasizing the spottiness of this S-Class-based KLEEMANN luxury saloon.




Brakes

The S-Class can be fitted with a brake system with eight pistons callipers and ventilated discs. Sizes from 328 x 28 mm to 380 x 34 mm. Rear axle discs are 345 x 28 mm or 328 x 28 mm.

Wheels

The TM-5 alloy wheel is a classic five spoke rim that comes in size 17 inch to 20 inches in diameter. The unique TS-6 alloy is available in 19 and 20 inch in diameters ranging from 8.5 to 11.5 inches in widths.

Looks real good. I might have said this before, but I think the new S-class only looks good with either an AMG bodykit or an aftermarket kit, like this one. The wheel arches are just to big and muscular to not have a bodykit. Completely messes up the overall look.

It's an improvement, but I still wouldn't buy one.
