I noticed this accident happened some time ago. What's the status on the RX? Are you planning on replacing it?
How can you - but more importantly - why should you have to yield to someone breaking the law? Was it established on the scene by the attending officer that the other driver was speeding? If so I don't see how it is that you can be found entirely at fault.
Anyway ...
I'm glad that you're alright.

I'm just happy to see you are alive.
From the cases I have known about, usually the speeder wins over the right of way person, because obviously no one can confirm how fast and no one will admit they went that fast. I know that sucks, but having police officers in the family north and south of the border they look at right of way first.

Nepotism knows no boundaries it seems.
Again, glad you're back up-and-running. Enjoy the GS.

Wow, VERY lucky no one was in the passanger seat, that would have made a bad day much much worse.
I had something simialr happen to me about 11 years ago when I first got my licence. Was at a stop, looked both directions, the cars I did see were far enough away so I pulled out to make a left, when someone who had went into the oncoming lane to pass slower traffic on the main road smacked me. I didn't see him because my view was blocked by the vehicles that were in the correct lane. In any case, they said it was my fault because he was on the main road and I had the stop sign, even though he was not only speeding, but in the wrong lane.
