Turns out it's not that quick at all. C&D and Automobile rate it 7.2 - 7.3sec 0-60mph and upper 15th 1/4 mile. I think even my slightly modded GS3 is quicker than that now. There are plenty of cars in Civic's class and price range that are quicker than SI.

Love the coupe hate the sedan. Interior is weird looking though but seems to be a nice car.

I like it! I wouldnt buy one simply because of its size though, too small for my taste. But I still think it looks pretty cool.

I'd rather have a VW.

When you consider that those same kids are willing to spend thousands (of their parents money) on exhaust systems, wheels, and intakes, that $1500 will be nothing.

Still, I agree with your point. If the brakes are that expensive to replace (who knows??), that is a bit much for a FWD econobox.

Nice but Si just doesn't mean much anymore. GTi or Mazdaspeed 3 please.

The spoiler and the "carbon" hood would both need to be replaced before I'd consider buying this Si.

But there's no better executed small hatch available (for the money) that can compare with the Si - and I'd readily purchase one if I was in the market for such a vehicle.
