Motoring mums and driver dads are breeding the next generation of road ragers by setting a bad example to children, according to new research. Too many parents lose their cool at the wheel and swear in front of their kids, claims the DIAmond Advanced Motorist Organisation.

Psychologists reckon road rage is similar to many forms of child-like behaviour, and can be transmitted easily from the front to the back seat. A spokesman said: "Parents must be aware of the damage they are doing to the drivers of the future, and make sure they set a good example."

HAHHAHA, that's funny. i start to notice this between me and my wife too. given the number of idiotic drivers in cali, we don't really swear but we don't yell sometimes. gotta tone down before we have our kids i guess, hahah

My mom was always a careful driver. My dad was the one that taught me to drive. Rather than opening up his mouth or cursing this or that, whatever driving maneuver he had to do, he did it with no added commentary.

After years of street racing and drag racing, I follow the same exact pattern. I actually find this keeps my very calm.
