I agree, even at a 200 or 100% increase, that would be tremendous. GO FORD!!

Cmon, "300% more efficient than a Prius"? What does that even mean? That it gets 300% better fuel economy or emissions? That it's hybrid system is 300% more efficient? That's not even possible.

And 60mpg F150? That's like me claiming Toyota has a 200mpg Tundra. It's just not possible.

This has nothing to do with Toyota. This is about reality here.

I also think it sounds impossible. Like mentioned already, aerodynamics and weight make it nearly impossible. Now a 60 MPG Ford mid size sedan? Now that I could see more.

The only way I could see even a 40 MPG F150 in the next 10 years is if someone rebadged their then hybrid Ford Ranger into an "F-150"..

yeah, it is just some vaporware article on some vaporware website. 300% more efficient means 3x... So it would get 180 MPG in the city? :-).

Even if this was official Ford press release, I would be sceptical, because product does not exist.
But it is not even that - it is writing on some obsecure website.

Ford president recently said at Detroit - we can not innovate via press releases, we have to have the product.
I agree.
