Don't let the term " Club Lexus " limit your input either. Here on CAR CHAT we talk literally around-the-clock about anything with wheels and an engine. That's what it's for...general car chat.

The SC300 has the same basic engine block as the 94 Supra twin-turbo, just naturally aspirated. If you don't need or want the Turbo's power the 3.0L in-line six is butter-smooth, quiet unless you punch it, almost as vibration-free as a turbine, and just about bulletproof unless abused. In my opinion it is one of the best engines Toyota / Lexus ever built...but it is not perfect. It is hard to reach the oil filter, uses almost as much gas as the 4.3 L V8, and is heavy due to that durable iron block. Also, I'm a AWD fan, and they never did an AWD version of it in a regular car.
