Re damn diculous.
Not only is it that swift, it's the cleanest and most fuel efficient in class. Out of control. The luxury and looks of the GS, additional tech (read Magneto's post on pg 8), better fuel economy, more power.

Lexus CANNOT offer the GS460 with the same performance of the 450h, or it would be redundant. WHy pony up the $$$ for a V-8, if its only as fast as the hybrid V-6.
It will HAVE to be faster.
380hp, in 3750 lbs sounds good to me

There's a chance C & D may achieve 4.9s with the GS450h.
The GS460 is all but guaranteed to be a sub 5 sec car, since many sources are claiming the LS460 will do 0 - 60 in 5.2s or lower. Toyota already told us it would be below 5.5s, making it faster than an S550.
Way to go Lexus.

though if 5.2 is solid for the gs450h, i would shoot for 4.9 on the gs460. 4.7 is very aggressive

Don't get too carried away yet guys But I would say 4.9 sec. for a 380 hp (if true) GS460 is realistic . Still wondering whether it will get the 6 speed tranny or the new 8 speed initially . . .
