The auburn was a lot more rounded, right?
I wasn't thinking of that, just that the rear reminded me of the boattail design.

I remember seeing this somewhere recently.

If I remember correctly, this particular car also had a 6cyl engine

Just an aside note.....at the time this car was built, it was the most powerful street car in production in the world...320 HP. The average car had about 40. Clark Gable and Gary Cooper, then big Hollywood stars, each owned one.
