350 finaly debuts in Europe!
Wow!!
Europe Lexus finally got a 3.5 V6. Although it is in RX, which means it stacks "only" 275hp I hope that in a year or so we will finally see 350 markings on IS and GS.
This is very positive. I really thought that Europe would not get 3.5 any time soon.
It's a shame that Lexus couldn't prove earlier on German's home ground that it has class leading V6 engine before Germans caught up. If they only brought GS350 or IS350 they would have made a big statement. But I do understand that Lexus does business from rational point of view.

The RX 350 is the next generation of the world's most successful luxury SUV. Further enhancing the driving experience, the evolution of the RX 350 reinforces the model's status as the most sophisticated vehicle in its segment.
On sale throughout Europe in April 2006, the RX model range's unrivalled reputation is founded on aerodynamically class-leading style combined with impressive dynamic performance. The new 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine with dual VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) produces 203kW.
Accelerating from 0-100kmph in under 8 seconds, it is controlled by a new 5-speed Super ECT automatic transmission with sequential shift overdrive. This promotes superior performance, improved fuel economy and lower emissions.*
The RX 350's full-time four-wheel drive deploys an even 50:50 torque split between front and rear wheels via a simple, compact and highly rigid transfer system which features a bevelled gear centre differential for optimum weight reduction.*
Best-in-segment infotainment is built in to the new RX: a new Mark Levinson® Premium system features a 10 channel, 300 watt amplifier and 11 speakers. It will also play MP3 and WMA files stored on either CD or DVD.*
Bluetooth® and a DVD satellite navigation system further enhance the premium qualities of this car, and features like Park Assist and enhanced Noise Vibration and Harshness measures ensure a relaxed and quiet performance.

Not bad. I think the 2007 RX 350 will be the number one seller for Lexus. It just keeps on getting better and more refined. With 270 hp it must have some spunk.

it also outsells all of its competitors :-).
