One thing I've always hated about BMW badges is that the numbers aren't clearly defined. The 5 looks like a 3, the 6 look like an 8. But badging a 6 series an 8 is kinda dumb. The old 6 series were sick looking cars and have their own history, the 8 is a completely different animal. My sister's ex used to have an old school M6 one of like ~2000.
