The car does drive like a pig (IMHO), don't get me wrong, but that's not due to weight or a flimsy chassis.
Well, I dont know whether it has to do with weight or chassis, but both E class and GS drive like pigs, E class being more of a pig than GS. Even my parents S500 feels much more solid than both these cars, especially when you set the suspension to firm setting.

I'd say 3 series, old IS300 and TSX are pretty damn harsh... The new IS250/350 and G35 are perfect.

Well, I don't VDIM has to do with chassis not being up to all that power, it just has to do with the fact that when you have a 13 seconds car you can do a lot of stupid things with it no matter how bad or good you suspension is, and I guess Lexus wants to prevent that. For instance the 325 has no power and suposedly has great suspension, yet I see a bunch of them driven by morons that spin them out, slide and cause accidents. Imagine if it they had as much power as the IS350?

usually slower cars are much easier to drive and might feel better to drive because it isnt as easy to go too fast. With cars like IS350, you are just an tap away from being too fast for your skills.

To compete? It will make it faster than the M45!!! The V6 in the IS350 is only RATED at 306hp (new SAE spec I might add)

I agree, I hope the 3.0 will find its way into the IS
