DETROIT — Saturn plans the world debuts of three new production models at the New York auto show: the all-new Aura sport sedan, a Red Line edition of the Sky roadster, and the Outlook crossover vehicle.

There'll also be the Aero X concept, which won Best in Show at the Geneva auto show and will make its U.S. debut here.

The first to reach the public will be the Aura midsize sedan, scheduled to go on sale this summer. The Sky Red Line will have a 260-hp 2.0-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine to add some oomph to the sleek Sky roadster. It goes on sale in the fall. The eight-passenger Outlook crossover is built on the new GM crossover platform and is planned for an on-sale date "later this year."

What this means to you: Saturn hopes its revitalized lineup will help it run rings around the competition. Sorry, we couldn't resist saying that.
