Well that one is not in the NTHSA

But I have these two:

Make : LEXUS Model : IS250 Year : 2006
Manufacturer : TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 05V565000 Recall Date : DEC 16, 2005
Component: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 3567
Summary:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY TEMPORARILY BECOME STUCK IN THE PARTIALLY DEPRESSED POSITION DUE TO INADEQUATE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL LINKAGE AND A PLASTIC PAD EMBEDDED INTO THE VEHICLE'S CARPET.
Consequence:
THIS CONDITION MAY INTERFERE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL RETURNING TO THE IDLE POSITION, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CLEARANCE OF THE ACCELERATION PEDAL AND CARPET, REPLACE THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY WITH A REVISED ASSEMBLY, AND MODIFY THE CARPET FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN LATE DECEMBER 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT LEXUS AT 1-800-255-3987.
Notes:
LEXUS RECALL NO. 5LC. CUSTOMERS MAY ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S VEHICLE SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), OR GO TO HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV.

Make : LEXUS Model : IS Year : 2006
Manufacturer : TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 06V096000 Recall Date : MAR 28, 2006
Component: AIR BAGS
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 133
Summary:
ON CERTAIN VEHICLES, DUE TO IMPROPER ASSEMBLY OF THE AIR BAG INFLATOR, WHICH IS USED IN THE SIDE AIR BAG, THE CURTAIN SHIELD AIR BAG, AND THE KNEE AIR BAG ASSEMBLY, SOME INFLATORS WERE PRODUCED WITH AN INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF THE HEATING AGENTS NECESSARY FOR PROPER AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. IN THIS CONDITION, THE EXPANSION FORCE OF THE GAS MAY BE INSUFFICIENT TO PROPERLY INFLATE THE AIR BAG WHEN THE SRS SYSTEM IS ACTIVATED DURING A CRASH.
Consequence:
THIS MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE OCCUPANT IN THE INVOLVED SEATING POSITION IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE SPECIFIC SRS AIR BAG. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING APRIL 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-888-270-9371, SCION AT 1-866-548-1851, OR LEXUS AT 1-800-255-3987.
Notes:
CUSTOMERS MAY CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S VEHICLE SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153); OR GO TO HTTP://WWW.SAFERCAR.GOV.

glad to hear you got your seatbelt fixed. i haven't had a problem with mine yet, but that is a scary thought for the seatbelts to not work.

don't even get me started on sushi. not only do i LOVE spicy tuna, i love sake (salmon), spicy salmon, hamachi, shiromi, hirame, unagi, and maguro. not too big on uni or ikura so i'm not hardcore.

edit: how could i forget amaebi. i love amaebi.

I've phoned my dealership and they don't have the recall yet so won't have parts yet. They said as soon as they hear about it they will call. Funny, the accel pedal getting stuck on the rubber is also happening to me. I thought it was my shoes getting caught!!!!

Guess I'll be getting that done too. Thanks for the heads up guys!

I highly doubt that they will give out 57,000 nanos.... though that would be nice

1gb engraved nanos at cost...that's pretty cheap for them, it's a drop in the [Lexus] bucket.

I just checked in an IS250 yesterday for a customer who had the 6LB SSC, the SRS Airbag replacement. First case here for that campaign.

I haven't seen anything for the seatbelt campaign yet. We did replace a driver side seat belt on a black 2006 GS300 a few months back. Isolated case then.

I just called my service consult and she said she'll address the problem when I get my 5k check-up and oil change, which is scheduled for the 20th. She said that she'll know how to fix the problem by then.

Not to be an Azz( I'm also a service consultant ), but bring your car empty...Lexus will fill your tank up, just for the inconveinence.

Default Lexus Recalls 57,000 Vehicles on Seat Belt Issue

The articles don't say which model it is, but I'd swear it's the IS and GS. My GS430 used to be difficult to extend out to connect the belt, and my buddy's IS350 was locked and he couldn't put his seat belt on for an hour.

Default Recall ?

Has anyone heard about a recall on seat belts?
This is the one thing I dislike about our SC430
That dumb snap on the seat that is to hold the belt
in place so you can find the end of it and it always
comes unsnapped so you cant find the end when
you buckle-up.
