The interior of the Infinity G35 is described as "warm elegance" by Kyle Bazemore, a public relations officer for Infinity.
To this day this company cannot get people including owners to spell the name right. A marketing disaster. Your NAME is the most important BRANDING. LMAO here......

It looks pretty good in that pic in red.

The price is lowest in class, going to help tons for those concerend with the power/dollar equation.

We saw the exact same thing. I'm reading the article and thinking "so sad, no one cares enough to spell the name right".

Hmm...so 0-60 in just about 5 seconds for the auto im guessing. The 6mt should be fairly quick then. I guess it was infiniti's plan to make the g35 exactly the same rated HP as the IS to show that it might be faster Cant wait for the comparos!

Its odd how they have it right in some parts of the article and wrong in other parts. I guess they arent used to using spell check..lol

I guess 306hp is the new benchmark. Although 5 speed AT is dissapointing when everyone else offers 6 speed AT. Also, mpg is dissapointing as well compared to IS, (21/28 vs 19/26). I think the car looks good. It is just that usually new models outdo the older ones...

sick, how do you know whats the pricing and what is it? (that info in that article is about 2006 model).

My misread that my bad. I don't see it going up hardly at all, they have to keep that price advantage.
I will say this vs the IS 250 at the same price gives the 102hp advantage G35 a very strong arguement (as well as 328 etc).

Horsepower does sell!

Actually if the author had used a spell check it probably would've worse, since "infinity" is a proper English word while "Infiniti" is not.

My guess is that pricing for the 2007 G35 will be about halfway between the IS250 and the IS350.

The IS350 is about $4000 more than the IS250 auto, so I'm thinking a similarly equipped G35 will be $2000 more than a IS250, and $2000 less than a IS350.

I think the 0-60 of 5 seconds is for the 6MT. Usually when automakers brag about 0-60 times, they talk about the fastest version of that car.

Manufacturer numbers aren't that useful anyway. We'll see how the mags test it.

I am curious about weight.

Wow, this car will be swift as hell, I can't wait to see the coupe.

The G's MPG is more disappointing in reality. My G sedan and coupe both averaged about ~22 mpg on my commute (90% highway) after break-in. My 350 is averaging just over 26 and it's getting better every tank (only have ~3K miles on it.)

yeah, it will have to weight more than before... and Infiniti did say low 5's, not 5.0.

Why will it have to weigh more than before?

In all honestly I think the only luxury car to weigh less than before is the Jags, since they are all aluminum. At least Lexus has been pretty good keeping the weight up to a minimum in most cases. The G35 shouldn't weigh much more as I don't think the platform changed much.
