The front of the car looks good but I don't reallly know about the rest of it. The rear looks like BMW's take on some of the Aston Martins from like seven or eight years ago, like the DB7 perhaps. The entire shape reminds me of a clog (shoe). Some of the details are cool but I don't know about the finished product here. I don't think it will be hard for Lexus or Infiniti to build a more attractive car.

I like the look. I think it is a nice car. This reminds me of the Mercedes W209 CLK that I wanted to get. Both cars are less blocky than the previous years and seems a little longer and stretched than before. I like it. The rear tail lights are definately BMW 7 series like. I was all set on getting a CLk if I went with another Coupe, but I'm pleased enough with this E92 that it would probably be a better choice. I noticed they listed the 330 as a coupe package as well with an increase in HP to 272.

I dunno - I like the front view definitely, and the rear sure is better than other Bangle-butts, but something about the side profile is off to me. It's almost like the rear isn't substantial enough to pull off the front length? Looking at the Aston, the rear window is much shorter and the overall bulk of the rear kind of balances out the long front. The BMW looks sort of "teeter-totter-y" to me.

I think it looks OK, but the E46 coupe looks MUCH better. 306hp is not very impressive considering the 335i will cost more than $50k. It will def be interesting how it compares to the new G35c.

p.s. I dont know why are BMW fans all over 335i, when all it really needs is 325i to beat all other cars in every single comparo that ever existed in the USA? :-). Just spending money for nothing, it wont make you faster in corners (quite opposite would be true), and all BMW fans care about is corners... driving in straight line is for sissy's.

Without a doubt this will steal some market share from Lexus. Not all IS owners want four doors (especially with a cramped rear seat). Now that the HP is a non-issue and a coupe is offered, Lexus will need to up their game to match this, but keep in mind that the M3 is on the horizon.

lid. It's a little too small and slanted down.
The front looks great though.
The character crease running from the front to the back looks like an after thought to me.....

Hey look at the car next to it, doesnt that remind you of something? like a uhmmmm toyota landcruiser! Yeah BMW way to rep the UZJ100! anyways back to the main topic of the thread
I like this styling overall better then the E90, however a E46 would probably be the only 3 Series i would ever consider. German companies seem to be going with that type of rear styling more now, if you look at the audi 4 and the bmw 3 you can see the resemblence. Crap look at the honda civic rear end and it kind of looks like an a4.
Here are some comparisons.

Take a look at the VBMW 7 series tail lights I I would say the E92 is styled after that more than the Audi or Civic. The 7's tail light style was out before this years A4 and Civic, so I wouldn't call it copying those cars but more like staying true to the BMW design and style.
