hmmm...interesting. Nice find though.
I always wondered why there was never an AWD coupe(minus the A4 Convertible) from any manufacturer. I guess they never saw the need for them. I honestly think that is a great combination and should have been available a long time ago. Glad that BMW is making an AWD coupe. IF any company was going to it, it would be them. So how many styles does the 3-series come in now?? 20+

Porsche has been making an AWD coupe since 1989 called the 911! Well they had AWD in the 959 but i highly doubt that many people in the states were that fortunate enough to aquire one. 1996 you could get the Bi-Turbo 911 which came with AWD also...any every other turbo from then on was AWD.
But lets get back to the lower priced coupes...yeah im suprised there really arent that many AWD coupes running about.

Even more.
But finally, no more.
Gotta say the interior doesn't impress me at all but the exterior is surely an improvement over the sedan, especially the front. 300ft-lbs of torque beats the IS350 and the AWD option is definitely something to be applauded.

Mm,...That seatbelt extension arm. Wouldn't it ONLY be useful if you had a REAR passenger to HELP you press that button so that arm can come out? It looks like you can't just leave it extended, cause it gets in the way when you get into the car no? If you wanted to use it, you'd have to reach further than the seatbelt itself. Either way, nice innovation.
EDIT: Or is that other silver button also a trigger for it?

hmmm...interesting....iDrive button, yet no Navi system.
There is something really wrong with that rear quarter panel that I just dont like. From the windows back it just look wierd to me. Though the tailights dont look bad.
Overall its an okay looking car. Still like the old 330Ci more, but Im sure the advancements made tothis model along with AWD in coupe form will be really nice. Thats so cool that you can get it in AWD now.

Official specs:
http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/futur...e/techdata.htm
So the 5.3s 0--to-60mph number is achieved by the manual 335i, while the automatic is slower at 5.5s. The IS350 is still the automatic champ after all (short of an AMG, that is).
I'll wait till C&D tests it though. BMW often underrates the performance of their cars very much.

I'm a lexus fan, but have to give credit where credit is due. That is one sweet car right there, and I cant WAIT to see what the afteramarket does with a twin turbo straight six (deja vu supra???)...I think some BPU's and 400 wheel horses is not far away. Great job Beemer.
