The word is BMW will once again put build an M3 sedn in addition to the coupe. If this is true, there will be both M3 sedan and coupes, not just the sedan.

The 335i has only dual exhausts. With quad exhausts, this thing has got to be the new M3.

Overall I think it looks quite okay, though not nearly as menacing looking as the current one.

Awesome shots, Jimmy. Looks like the guy in the M5 was busy taking pictures with his cell phone camera too. Good thing you've got a much better camera with you.

For starter, how about looking at his screen name? Reading his signature can help too, you know.

As mentioned, there will likely be both a coupe and sedan version of the e9x M3.

I guess the folks here on CL are the only ones that think the 2IS feels like the 3-series.

I agree with SICK when he says that the average driver will only use the BMW's superior handling ability maybe twice in their entire ownership (if they're lucky), but that doesn't change the fact that (afaik), most people find the road feel, steering feel, and overall "handling" of the BMW to be better.

Lexus can compete on it's own merits, and yes the IS is a great car; and if it "feels" better to you that's great, but you're in the minority.

It looks more like a Pontiac than a BMW

I'm glad to see that they listened to the reviewers and are putting in the defeat button now work on getting the people a 6 speed manual and then Lexus can dominate the world...that is what you want isnt it? everyone to drive a Lexus? Personally i like a little variety...keeps all the car makers on their toes and not complacent
No, I definately like BMWs, but BMW enthusiast owners seem to have a chip on their shoulders when it comes to their handling. You made a jab at the 2006 IS so I was sticking up for my own car.

And you can keep the, what, 10% of drivers that actually drive a MT anymore?

you realize it's a prototype test car, so there are a lot of duct tape and missing parts right?
