S2K is a very sweet car too, but I don't want a car I have to rev to 8000rpms to find power plus I just like the proportions of the MX5 better.

Check out the options in the PDFs at this page, especially the accessories and Mazdaspeed accessories available - it's GREAT!

Sure, I hear you, but if it's a weekend twisties car, power isn't the thing you're really after. The smooth short-shifting 6spd and the amazing ability to hug the road tightly... that's what you want, right? Well, it's what I want at least. Plus, revving high is fun, definitely very inducing. Not good for daily driving, but good for rejuvenating spirits on the weekends.

Anywho, I'd have to test drive them back to back. And like I said, the Miata (in soft-top roadster form) is an icon. In the end, I wouldn't kick either one out of my garage, that's for certain.
