Toyota Announces Results for April 2006

Tokyo, Japan, May. 24, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation
('TMC'; TSE: 7203) announced today the production, sales in Japan and
export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino
Motors, Ltd., for April 2006.

Daihatsu: Second consecutive month of increase
Hino: Fourth consecutive month of increase
Consolidated: Eighth consecutive month of increase

SALES IN JAPAN
Toyota: First decrease in four months; 49.3% share of market,
excluding
minivehicles; 2,029 units in sales of Lexus vehicles
Daihatsu: Second consecutive month of increase; 30.1% share of
the
minivehicle market
Hino: Eighth consecutive month of increase; 31.8 % share of
the truck market
Consolidated: First decrease in four months; 43.2% share of market,
including minivehicles

EXPORTS
Toyota: Fifth consecutive month of increase
Daihatsu: Second consecutive month of increase
Hino: Fourth consecutive month of increase
Consolidated: Fifth consecutive month of increase

OVERSEAS PRODUCTION
