In case any locals care, this car was done by Platinum Motorsports on Melrose and Formosa (just west of LaBrea) in Hollywood/West LA.

ASMA-Design, the company that brought the world the Mercedes CLS Shark II, has unveiled a similarly-styled ML-Class. The “Gladiator II” features, among other things, a giant grille. It also has a new hood, bumpers, wheels, fenders, and more. What more can we say?

Wow, that thing looks horrible imo. Modding is an individual thing but I can't see how anyone would buy that grill. There is nothing about it that looks attractive. Does anyone here thinkit's alright? Anyone. Speak up....we'll respect your opinion (yeah, right).

BODENSEE, Germany — ASMA Design, which last year presented its shocking Shark aerodynamic tuning kit based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS, has now turned its attention to the ML-Class. The result is called the Gladiator II.
The Gladiator II was among friends at the Tuning World show in Bodensee, which is billed as an "international event for auto tuning, lifestyle and club scene."
ASMA has given the Gladiator II the same front-end treatment as the Shark, with a very bold and aggressive shield-like front grille and a hood with lots of air intakes. The package also includes extremely wide wheel arches, 23-inch tires, new side sills and a completely new exhaust system.
What this means to you: German tuning — and questionable taste — are still alive and well.
