Rear doors are fake

The Italian car maker Maserati is preparing a coupe version of the Maserati Quattroporte, which has been on the market since 2003.
The pictures are showing a prototype during high speed testing at Nürburgring. It is in fact made to confuse the onlooker, because this Quattroporte will in reality have only two doors. On the prototype the second side doors are fake, also the body has some plastic parts for disguise.
The launch of the new Coupe is scheduled for next year, also a convertible is in the pipeline. The Coupe’s styling is again done by Pininfarina. Most likely it will use the same engine as in the sedan, a 4.2 litre V 8 performing 400 HP.

Not to mention that if those rear doors are indeed fake, then there is a LOT of body panel after that drivers door.

Horrible Concept!!!
First of all, the name is wrong.
Second, the car is disproportionately designed.
Third, if you need the space and access of the Quattroporte for the transport of three or more people, get the freakin' Quattroporte.
Maserati, what were you thinking?!? Oh, wait -- you weren't...

The new Maserati Coupè ?
Found on the net, a scan from an unnamed american magazine, with rendering of how the next, Maserati Coupè could look like.
They talk about a 4.5 liters V8 engine with 500 cavalli, but what we heard is that the engine should be the new 4.7 liters / 470 cv that has been under development for a while (of which you can hear the sound in THIS VIDEO , which shows a camouflaged coupè under testing in Fiorano).
All doubts should be resolved in some months' time, however: the Coupè is expected next year.

Can't you people see past the name
Maserati sold 3 times more Quattroporte's then it did the cambrocorsa the sypder combined.
The Quattroporte is priced slightly lower then the Bentley GT and Flying spur, both of which its direct compition.
So where Bentley went Coupe -> Sedan
Maserati is going Sedan -> Coupe
The Quattroporte saved Maserati and got people to notice the brand. Making a coupe version of the sedan that saved them and offering it with even better performance is a very good move.
