Z06s rock.
One of my friends is very close to getting handed back the keys of his Z06 with a twin turbo system, though a custom one, not the Lingenfelter.
The Z06 is unlike the last Corvettes I have driven and seems much more eurotuned in the way it handles and flies.

Looks like thoose tuned cars are having some trouble putting all that power to the ground.
My choice would be the Hennessey Viper. That thing is rediculously mean.

WOW, $30k-50k in upgrades to these cars and they can't take a stock Z06. I would have thought the 0-60 times would be under 4 secs. Way to go GM for making such a wonderful car.

With That Much Power Its Very Hard To Put All The Power Down To The Ground. The Vette And The Viper Where The Hardest To Drive. They Said Even In 3rd Gear They Would Burn Out Of Control. The Zo6 Was Easy Because The Car Can Control All The Power And Handel It Better .

Z06 balance is pretty amazing. It can do everything good with the same setup. However, at the track nobody races a 1000hp viper or any of those cars on 19" wheels and street rubber. ZO6 will always loose to those cars in a highway race. The bragging rights are not there as well.
That aside the performance of new Z06 is mind-boggling.
